Getting traffic to a website is the best way of increasing your chances or getting an enquiry or making a sale but you need to make sure that a percentage of this traffic is converting. To do this you need to be able to analyse your website statistics to see what your visitors are doing when they get to your website. Be sure to check your bounce rate, this is often shown as a percentage and reflects the number of people that have left the site prior to interacting with it.

If you notice that are certain page within your site has a high bounce arte then it is probably because there is an issue with that page. It may be that the page is not loading correctly or that the information on that page is lacking causing customers to leave disappointed.

Once you have all the stats you can start to look in to the types of customers that are visiting your site and how long they are spending on it. You can even try setting up an A-B testing version of your home page to show a certain amount of your visitors a page containing a different layout of information to see which one works best.
